OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. In January—September 2011 the total volume of direct insurance premiums of the Volgograd branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company amounted to 144 mln. rubles, which is a 26 % increase on the same period in 2010.

Insurance premiums for voluntary non-life insurance amounted to 120 mln. rubles (a 25 % increase), including the revenues from property insurance — 113 mln. rubles (a 31 % increase) and from liability insurance — 5 mln. rubles (a 274 % increase). 24 mln. rubles in premiums (a 28 % increase) were collected from compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO).

During the first 9 months of 2011 payments made by the Volgograd branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company under direct insurance amounted to 84 mln. rubles, including payments under voluntary personal insurance — 2 mln. rubles, under property insurance — 67 mln. rubles, and under voluntary liability insurance — 2 mln. rubles. Payments under compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO) amounted to 13 mln. rubles.

The most rapidly developing business lines in the Volgograd branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company during the specified period were motor own damage insurance (CASCO) and compulsory motor third party liability insurance (OSAGO).
