OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2011. Latvian national airline airBaltic carried 201,923 passengers in November 2011 (from Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn), or almost as much as the same month in 2010, when airBaltic transported 201,873 passengers. In November this year, the number of passengers at the base of airBaltic in Riga has increased by 3% compared to the same period last year.

During the eleven months of 2011, airBaltic transported a total of 3,153,835 passengers, or 5% more than during the same period in 2010, when the total number of passengers was 2,998,453.

In November airBaltic operated 3,420 flights or 15% less than in November 2010, when airBaltic operated 4,002 flights. Between January and the end of November, the airline provided 51,811 flights in all.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in November 2011 was at a level of 74% - or 10 percentage points more than in November 2010. During the eleven months of 2011 the airline’s load factor was at a level of 75% or 6 percentage points more than in the same period last year.
 
The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 92.7% in November 2011. This means that almost 93 of every 100 airBaltic flights in November departed at the time planned or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
