OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2012. During winter 2011/12 Donavia airline offers air services to 18 cities in 12 countries of the world.

Joining of Donavia’s network to the network of Aeroflot means a significant enlargement for the possibilities of our company’s passengers: the combined winter time-table includes more than 100 cities with the scheduled flights operated by the both airlines to more than 50 countries of the world.

The program of flights is operated in cooperation with Aeroflot based on the plan of fusion between JSC Aeroflot - Russian airlines and JSC Donavia.

Beside direct flights operated by Donavia from Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Sochi, Mineralnye Vody and Stavropol the air travelers can use a transfer flight via Moscow. For example, Donavia will carry a passenger to Moscow (transfer point) and back, and the air travel from Moscow to the final destination and back will be operated by Aeroflot – Russian airlines. Aerolfot operates flights to Europe, South and North America, Africa, Middle East and Asia as well as to the cities of Russia.

The comfortable services and air carriage rules are offered for the passengers in this case:
Donavia’s and Aeroflot’s flights share the uniform baggage allowances;
Donavia will provide a through passenger and baggage check-in service at the Rostov-on-Don airport to the final point of destination for the passengers who travel from Rostov-on-Don via Sheremetyevo airport and then to the Russian cities and abroad (except U.S.A.) by the flights of Aeroflot.

In addition, Donavia’s passengers participating to the Aeroflot-Bonus loyalty program can accumulate points flying not only with Donavia and Aeroflot but with the SkyTeam Alliance partners, thus enriching their travels’ geography.

The air tickets for the flights of Donavia can be purchased on Aeroflot’s site (you can start booking on Donavia’s site), at the ticketing offices of Donavia and Aeroflot, from the ticketing agents.

Jointly operated flights of Aeroflot and Donavia share a double code: SU code (Aeroflot) and D9 code (Donavia).

SU code of the flight can be found in an air ticket; information boards at the airports and boarding passes show either two flight codes or the air operator’s (D9) flight code.

You can check SU and D9 codes for the flights in the section Time-Table on our site (“direct flight” and “return flight” columns).
