OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2012. The UTair Aviation Board of Directors held a meeting to discuss the airline's business plan and budget for 2012.

The UTair flight operations program will call upon the airline's fleet of more than 560 aircraft and helicopters of various types and classes. In 2012 the Group’s aircraft will transport more than 10 million passengers and will log more than 500,000 flight hours. Helicopter operations will be carried out in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

UTair gross revenue for 2012 is expected to exceed 75 billion rubles. Operational profit stands to increase more than 2.5 times over results for 2011.

The Board of Directors approved business plan and budget drafts and signed them off for roll out in 2012.

Preliminary results of 2011 and plans for 2012 indicate that UTair is rapidly developing and demonstrating steady growth. High performance of work is achieved by shareholders, managers and, most importantly, many thousands of highly professional employees. In 2012, the UTair’s main effort will refer to the solution of strategic tasks: development of new aviation markets in Russia and abroad, further fleet expansion, improvement of the structure and services of the company.
