OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) and Transatel, a leading MVNE in Europe, announced today the formation of a strategic alliance to explore end-to-end M2M service opportunities for businesses in Europe.

This partnership enables NEC to leverage Transatel's innovative capabilities as the first multi-country MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and the first European MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) / MVNA (Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator). The agreement will allow the companies to deploy and operate connectivity management solutions, including core networks, and to provide end-to-end M2M services for enterprises.
