OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2012. Yesterday a conference took place in Naberezhnye Chelny to sum up the results of the implementation of the collective agreement of OJSC KAMAZ in 2011.

At the conference, reports were made by Kirill Puzyrkov, Deputy Director General of OJSC KAMAZ of Human Resources Management and Organizational Development; and Gumer Nuretdinov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of OJSC KAMAZ. Sergey Kogogin summed up the results of the company’s activity.

Kirill Puzyrkov, Deputy General Director of OJSC KAMAZ of Human Resources Management and Organizational Development, told about manufacturing, financial and economic results of 2011, activities of the company`s managers in the social sphere showing extensive statistical calculations and illustrations. He noted that the managers of the company had carried out their priority obligations in 2011. The total amount of social payments made more than 580 million rubles. This sum includes funding according to the program "Care" – targeted social support of workers and pensioners of the corporation which amounted to almost 39 million rubles. In addition to a state pension, over 6,680 people receive a non-state KAMAZ pension via NPF "First Industrial Alliance". During the accounting year, KAMAZ transferred more than 92.5 million rubles to this fund. The program "KAMAZ Women" is also fulfilled – to the sum of 18.5 million rubles.

As of January 1, 2011, the staff of enterprises of KAMAZ’s whole production string amounted to 47,176 persons. According to Kirill Puzyrkov, a wage for such a number of employees can be increased in case of a further increase in labor productivity.

Gumer Nuretdinov, Head of KAMAZ Trade Unions, gave his assessment of the company`s management activity and employees’ work, fulfillment of mutual obligations of the parties, which had concluded the collective agreement. He emphasized that the implementation of the collective agreement means that the company cares for the team, for each employee, and social responsibility is the company’s priority.

The audience attentively listened to a speech made by General Director of OJSC KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin. "Today, we have every reason to enjoy stability,” said the head of KAMAZ. “Crises come and go, and KAMAZ continues to work. But we shouldn’t rest on our laurels. Changes are felt, of course, due to the situation in macroeconomics, the crisis in Europe, and Russia`s accession to the WTO. As I have repeatedly said, KAMAZ is ready for the consequences of the acceptance of Russia into World Trade Organization more than any other automaker of its level".

In conclusion, Sergey Kogogin said, "I’d like to say, we can handle any situation no matter how hard it is. We managed to cope with difficulties in the past and we will continue doing it. There is no other way out for us".
