OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2012. PrivatBank has launched a new service - selling tickets for transport via the phone. Now, buying bus, train or airplane tickets one does not require visiting a bank’s office. Booking and paying for the trip are available from a mobile phone, calling to a free short bank’s phone number 3700. The bank's fee for buying tickets over the phone is the same as in its offices.

"It's fantastic! Just imagine how much time we would save for our clients with this service! Several months ago, we’ve saved them time, allowing to buy tickets at the nearest branch and not at the stations box offices. Now it all comes to two-minute call that is free of charge! - said Deputy Chairman of PrivatBank Yuri Kandaurov. - Plus, this service is one more step to relieving our offices".

Today clients can buy train and bus tickets to any direction for Ukraine, as well as tickets for domestic and international flights of "Aerosvit" and "Dniproavia" companies, calling on the phone number 3700. Purchasing tickets by phone does not differ from the usual trip to the bank’s cash desk. It is enough to say the date, time, and direction of travel and the proposed mode of transport to the bank's operator. Payment for ticket is transferred only after the client confirms a transaction via SMS.

When buying a train and bus tickets, a client receives on his/her phone an SMS with a e-ticket number using which the client can get a paper ticket at any train or bus ticket office not later than 30 minutes before departure. While exchanging e-ticket on the paper one, the client must show his/her passport. If an airline ticket is booked and paid for, the client receives a ticket via e-mail and can print it at home or at office.

Daily, over 2,000 tickets for all kinds of transport are sold in PrivatBank’s offices and online banking system Privat24. Since PrivatBank had implemented "ticket" service in 2010, more than 480,000 people took advantages this service, for planning their trips.
