OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2012. ABH MIRATORG accomplished  the acceptance of  two more cattle shipments of Aberdeen-Angus breed, which had arrived to Bryansk region from the US and Australia. Thus, within the period from June 2011 through present, more than 37 thousand heads of breeding cattle were delivered by ABH to their  farms, located on the territory of the region.

11 498  cattle heads of Aberdeen-Angus breed, which had arrived from the US and Australia by two vessels to Novorossiysk port within the period of March 10 -19, were successfully  located on the farms of ABH MIRATORG in Surazh and Pochep districts of Bryansk region.

More than 300 units of special  transport were engaged  for cattle transportation to the farms.

Upon arrival, all the animals  were identified by means of  ear tags and passed the set of all  veterinary treatments required.

Currently, the set of diagnostic tests and actions on animal disease control are carried out, which are stipulated by  Veterinary Requirements for entry to the customs territory of the Customs union and (or) transfers of breeding and commercial cattle between the Parties, approved by Resolution No.317 of the Customs Union Committee dated 18.06.2010. Laboratory researches have been performed by  Federal State Budgetary Institution Bryansk Interregional Veterinary Laboratory, which is the Reference center of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary

For the moment,  twelve farms have already been populated with the cattle  from  totally  fourteen farms, constructed on the territory of Bryansk region within the framework of ABH MIRATORG project on beef farming development, and the total  number of dam livestock of ABH in the region is more than 37 thousand heads.

In April and May 2012 , ABH are ready to accept 20 thousand heads of breeding cattle more on their Bryansk cattle farms ; by fall 2012, dam herd will be increased  to be  80 thousand heads.

Before the end of 2012, ABH MIRATORG will finish construction of sixteen farms more  in Bryansk region and locate the cattle on them.

The construction of 40 farms as well  as  the Slaughter and primary meat processing plant is totally  scheduled within the framework of the project .

By year 2014, commercial livestock  will be total 120 thousand heads per year.

Volume of project investments  is more than RUR  24 bln.
