OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (“the Company,” Representative Director and CEO: Setsuo Wakuda) announced the completion of store reform initiative on March 28, 2012.

 In line with the AUTOBACS 2010 Medium-Term Business Plan, the Company has introduced store reform initiative to improve profitability of its existing stores. Reforms have started in April 2010 aiming for implementation at 360 stores in two years.
 The store reform initiative was also reflected in the newly built stores, which totaled 27 stores in two years. The reformed stores are achieving positive responses from customers, and the Company plans to implement them into new stores which are scheduled to open in the near future.
 In addition to raising the level of shopping convenience and customer satisfaction, the Company aims to make its stores to be closer to the neighbor community to realize the corporate slogan “Anything about cars, you find at AUTOBACS.”

 Major points of Store Reform

 1. Upgrading of central shelves to make it easier for customers to find and select what they need

 2. Establishment of comprehensive maintenance and service counter to make it easier for customers to obtain information with the support of store staffs for selection of goods and services

 3. Renewal of sign poles and store faзade design to make it easier for customers to access stores

 4. Improvement of store environment (wider aisle, clearer zoning signs and lightings)

 -Standardized zoning signs and POPs
 -Set Multi-facing displays of popular items
 -Introduced pit services using POPs
 -Established comprehensive area for Safety Inspection and maintenance services to
 make it easier for customers to select items and services that they need with the support by store staffs.
