OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. Trailer KAMAZ Inc. – a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Stavropol – summed up production and financial results of 2011.

Last year, the enterprise sold products to the tune of more than RUB 1 billion. This is by 77% more than in 2010 and by 61% more than it was planned. To add to this, other products were sold for the sum of over RUB 36 million, which is 12 times as much as in 2010, when proceeds from sales of such products made about RUB 3 million.

The improved financial performance is connected with the change of managers. It should be recalled that Valery Eryomin was appointed General Director of Trailer KAMAZ Inc. in April 2011. The main reason for dismissal of Evgeny Pismenny, the former top manager, was ineffective management.

In August 2011, at a meeting with the employees of the plant, Valery Eryomin said, “Developing our main products – trailers and semitrailers, improving their customer appeal and performance properties, we also intend to diversify production as much as possible in order to keep facilities of the plant running at full capacity.” The results of the year indicate that these objectives are being successfully attained.

Trailer KAMAZ Inc. expanded its staff to 555 people in order to fulfill the increased production plan in 2011. The company carried out all obligations and social security programs.

According to the results of the year, the net profit of the enterprise made RUB 17.5 million, which is more than twice as much as the result of 2010.
