OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2012. Over 2007-11 clients of OJSC "International Bank of Azerbaijan" (IBA) conducted 2.126 million transactions for AZN 62.6 million on all electronic banking channels.

The bank’s press-service reports that 450.300 operations for AZN 17 million were conducted on all electronic banking channels in 2011 versus 243.800 operations for AZN 4.9 million in 2007.

In 2011 94% of total number of transactions accounted for payment of mobile operators’ services, 68% was provided by Card Transfer service (urgent money remittance from one bank card to the other).

Although 91% of total number of card transactions was conducted through ATMs their share in total volume of transactions made only 23%.

37% of electronic banking turnover accounted for Internet banking, 7%- MobilBank service and 33%- information kiosks which was provided through CardTransfer service.

In 2007-11 71.000 transactions for totally AZN 40 million were conducted through CardTransfer service. Average sum of operation within the service has made about AZN 600 since 2008. In 2011 17.400 transactions for AZN 11.5 million were conducted within CardTransfer.

In 2009-11 turnover on electronic deposit service (opening of urgent deposit through bank card) made AZN 3.78 million.

In 2011 3.427 people connected Internet banking service, 2.962 of them are individuals and 465- corporate clients. The number of individuals connected to the service rose by 36% and legal entities-by 30% versus 2010.

IBA also marks rise of interest for MobilBank service, which already numbers about 1.000 people presently connected to it.
