OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2012. Since April, 2012 Ust-Luga Container Terminal (a part of NCC group) is fully capable to use the rail infrastructure for handling containers to/from Luzhskaya railway station.

Now, the Russia’s segment of container industry has more opportunities for logistics solutions:

ULCT has possibility to dispatch up to 30% of container traffic by railroad;
The rail delivery route ex. ULCT passes by the congested rail hub of St Petersburg;
The rail tariff for deliveries between ULCT, Moscow and other destinations in the Central Russia is competitive for block trains as compared to the tariff of St Petersburg;
The rail access and competitive rates create beneficial conditions for the customers to perform operations with block trains at ULCT;
ULCT’s railway infrastructure includes4 rail tracks of 525 m each (25 railcars) under 2 RMG.

Currently, NCC Logistics, the rail operator of NCC group, offers the following shuttle train destinations:

Ust-Luga Container Terminal, Luzhskaya station – Moscow;
Ust-Luga Container Terminal, Luzhskaya station – Logistika-Terminal, St Petersburg.
