OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2012. The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik has manufactured 24 burners for CHPP Sovetskaya Gavan’ (Khabarovsky Krai). The new equipment weighing approximately 50 ton will be installed in the furnaces of the Boilers TPE-131.

According to the Contract signed in March 2011, EMAlliance obliged to design, manufacture, and supply three new boilers, each with steam capacity of 210 t/h, for Power Units of CHPP Sovetskaya Gavan’. The main equipment is manufactured at the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik. Works on design were carried out by the specialists of PJSC EMAlliance Engineering Centre (Taganrog).

During the construction of the equipment there was applied a steplike scheme of fuel combustion which allows to improve boiler ecological indexes by means of oxygen level and flame temperature lowering.

Changes are made in the direct fuel-fired burner design to meet the Customer’s requirements. Downstream section of the burners does not have any rotating nozzles that simplifies considerably their operation. At the inlet ducts there are installed regulating dampers with drive allowing to simplify air inlet duct layout and to provide more accessible equipment maintenance. Burner startup assemblies are fitted with profile guide vanes reducing air resistance of the correspondent channels.

The equipment was designed for channel-by-channel measuring of air flow. The specialists of EMAlliance carried out aerodynamic blowdown of the equipment after burner assembly. The received information about air flow in each channel will be used at burner operating mode setting-up just before burner operation.

The new CHPP in Sovetskaya Gavan’ also will be equipped with steam turbines each with capacity of 63 MW manufactured by PJSC Kaluga Turbine Works (PJSC KTZ) – a member of OJSC Power Machines. According to the Contract terms and conditions, the first turbine shall be manufactured in February 2013, and the second – in April 2013.
