OREANDA-NEWS. May 5, 2012. In Astana an alley of power engineers was planted in a section of the President Park. Top managers and employees of KEGOC Executive Administration participated in the planting of 100 saplings.

Since the company headquarters has dislocated to Astana in 2004, KEGOC employees, being the capital citizens, has been participating in Astana planting each spring.

‘The Company considers it a good tradition, therefore we acceded and supported the initiative of the head of the state and of Astana branch of Nur-Otan National Democratic Party. To contribute to the capital development is a matter of honor for each person, who lives and works in Astana. It will be a good memory for citizens and visitors of the capital,’ Bakhythan Zhazykbayev, First Deputy Chairman of Management Board of KEGOC, noted before starting the action.

In 2012 KEGOC under the Ossakarovka Transmission Rehabilitation Project to be implemented to enhance the security of power supply and meet the growing electricity demand of the facilities planned to be constructed in the industrial zone of Astana, increased the transformer capacity at TSGPP-500 SS from 375 to 500 MVA.
