OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2012. PDVSA Morichal District Division Carabobo, attached to the Executive Director of the Orinoco Oil Belt, set a record for production to reach 172,300 barrels daily average per month.  It maintains a steady growth for 8 months in its operational goals, an achievement that was obtained thanks to the solidarity and revolutionary commitment of each of their workers to the country's main industry.

The optimization of the operational actions launched in August last year allowed to increase production of 156.2 bpd in September 2011 to 172.3 MBD at the end of April 2012, which is an average monthly record in the history of district.

Thus, April closed with actual production of 172,3 MBD, barrels that are incorporated into the Special Production Plan. The achievement of this important goal has been made possible by the implementation of Drilling and Well Completion Agenda, the optimization of processes and the adequacy and increased transportation infrastructure.

The effort of individual Morichal District workers is necessary to achieve and maintain compliance with production targets, and to be ensured that plans and revolutionary projects implemented by the Bolivarian government of President Hugo Chavez, with deep love of country, continue to carry the greatest happiness possible to the Venezuelan people.
