OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2012. Yesterday, within the frameworks of a visiting session on attraction of federal funds to the economy of Tatarstan, the delegation of the Russian State Duma deputies and representatives of Tatarstan ministries and departments visited KAMAZ.

Accompanied by Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ and other top managers of the company, parliamentarians and administrative officials visited Automobile Plant where they saw the work of the main assembly line and a cab assembly conveyor.

Then the guests visited Industrial Park Master. To date, it has 179 tenants. The delegation visited several enterprises, including Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok JV. Industrial Park provides its facilities to implement various projects: production of brake blocks, lights for KAMAZ vehicles, charging and delivery of accumulators to the conveyor, production of electronic devices, metal-cutting tools. Besides Russian producers, enterprises of the following well-known foreign companies operate on the territory of KIP Master: Leoni (Germany), ERK Otomotiv and Tirsan Kardan (Turkey), Mercedes-Benz (Germany), and Fuso (Japan). Conditions created at the park help to achieve high performance, and domestic enterprises can raise their technologies and production standards to the world level operating side by side with foreign companies.

After the visit to Automobile Plant and Industrial Park Master, the guests arrived at the general directorate of KAMAZ for a meeting on issues of attraction of federal funds to the economy of Tatarstan which was held by Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan.

The meeting was also attended by Oleg Morozov, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s State Duma, a member of the Committee on Budget and Taxes, Rishat Abubakirov, member of Russia’s State Duma Committee on Housing Policy, Housing and Communal Services, Alfiya Kogogina, member of Russia’s State Duma Committee on Industry.
