OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2012. Ural Airlines became the fourth partner of Moscow Domodedovo Airport to open own CUSS-kiosks. From this moment the passengers of the airline, along with travelers flying by Transaero, S7 Airlines and Globus, will be able to follow simplified procedure to check-in.

The passengers of another 13 airlines, namely, Austrian, Aegean Airlines, Air Bishkek, Air Malta, bmi, British Airways, Iberia, Lufthansa, Montenegro Airlines, Orenair, United, Rossiya Airlines, Tatarstan are welcome by Domodedovo Airport to use common CUSS-kiosks: 24 kiosks were installed in the passenger terminal. For the passengers’ convenience all flights offering the opportunity of self-check-in are displayed on the board with icons depicting the kiosks.

CUSS-kiosks are not the only way of alternative passenger processing for airlines operating flights from Domodedovo Airport. Check-in via mobile phones is offered by 17 carriers and other 35 airlines provide another interactive option, namely, flight check-in on the Internet via laptop or PC.

For air travelers using alternative check-in services 24 Drop-off desks are provided for a quick luggage check-in. By such an active development of self-services Moscow Domodedovo Airport is keeping pace with the world trend: according to the IATA forecast (International Air Transport Association), about 70% of all passengers will be using self-services by 2013 and 100% - by 2020.

“Ural Airlines” is one of ten Russian airlines in terms of level of safety and traffic volume. The airlines have provided its services to more than 2,5 million passengers for 2011. This carrier flight geography extends every year and now includes more than 120 destinations. The basis of the fleet of “Ural Airlines” is represented by modern and comfortable aircraft of the European consortium Airbus. The airline successfully uses 24 foreign aircraft (15 of A320 and 9 of A321).
