OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. Grain grower in Lebap Velayat fulfilled their contractual obligations delivering 350,000 tons of wheat to receiving points of the country. Sowing 175,000 hectares with winter crops, Lebap Velayat grain growers harvested rich crop.

400 grain harvester combines were engaged in the harvesting campaign. Grain growers of the Amu Darya Valley delivered wheat to 34 receiving points working day-and-night.

The grain harvesting campaign in Lebap Velayat is almost completed. Grain growers will harvest wheat till the last ear. The fields free from winter wheat will be sown with intermediate crops.
