OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Belarus’ beer output increased 11.5% on the year in January-May 2012 to 18.7 million decaliters, the National Statistics Committee told reporters.

In May alone beer output rose 7.5% to 4.8 million decaliters, up 20.6% on month.

Beer inventories were at 2.6 million decaliters as of June 1, 2012, 71.2% of the average monthly output.

Inventories reduced 0.5% from May 1, 2012.

Beer sales increased 1.8% on the year in Jan-May 2012 to 13.179 million decaliters.

In terms of 100% alcohol, beer sales grew 1 percentage points in May to 13.5%.
