OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. The annual report and the accounting statements of PJSC Stroytransgaz for 2011 were approved at the annual general meeting of the Company’s shareholders. During the reporting period, Stroytransgaz made material progress in revitalizing the finance structure, contracts performance and projects efficiency.

 It was the first time since 2008 that the company’s business yielded profit: according to the results of the year, the net profit amounted to RUR 851 mln. The Company’s profitability performance index reached the highest point for the latest 6 years, profit margin was as high as 13.9%, the profit increased by 27% as compared to 2010 and amounted to RUR 41.4 bln. The most remarkable success however was made in electricity supply network construction: the Company is the biggest general contractor of OJSC “FGC UES”. In 2011, 64% of the company’s revenue was made in energy and electricity supply network construction, including construction of super high voltage UNPG facilities.

 The meeting of shareholders decided not to pay the dividends for 2011, but to assign the net profit for Stroytransgaz development. The Stroytransgaz Board of Directors was elected as follows:

Thomas Scheibel, Managing Director of Ural Invest S.A.

 According to the shareholders’ decision, CJSC “Business Consulting and Audit Centre” was appointed the auditor of PJSC Stroytransgaz for 2012.

 Stroytransgaz is one of major construction and engineering companies established in 1990. Now it implements its activities in 14 countries and cooperates with such clients as Gazprom, Transneft, Rosneft, SIBUR, JSC Concern Rosenergoatom, JSC FGC UES, the government of St. Petersburg, Avtodor, NET4GAS, Syrian Gas Company, Sonatrach,  Dolphin Energy, Turkmengaz, Destia, DEPA S.A., DESFA S.A., Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K, Saudi Aramco, Department of Presidential Affairs.
