OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2012. OJSC TANECO personnel is guaranteed for safe working conditions, deserved wages, opportunity for professional advancement and assistance in solving different social problems. Once again it was confirmed during the meeting of TANECO personnel held on the results of work in the first half of 2012.

The Trade Union Leader Gulnara Muzipova reported that all main commitments stipulated in Trade Union Contract are fulfilled in full. 87 mln. rubles has been already invested for commitments implementation.

Considering that people is the key element of any production system, OJSC TANECO as well as the whole Tatneft company takes serious care of its personnel. Administration and Trade Union of the Company proceed with the joint activities on such critical directions as Health and Safety, housing provision, personnel health improvement, cultural and sport activities.

Careful attention is paid to Industrial Safety. Special system implemented in the company that allows to save personnel life and health. Within the most important action are following – assessment of workplaces, prevention of injuries and occupational disease, regular medical inspections, provision of protective clothes, safety shoes and other PPE. About 20 mln. rubles were invested to this purposes. The result is quite natural: from the beginning of Oil Refinery operation not a single accident has been happened.

As per Section "Social Benefits" payments amounted more then 28 mln. rub. Real financial support was provided to all who had been in a difficult situation and vice versa to those who had been married or born a child or celebrated anniversary. By the way, 37 weddings had been celebrated within these 6 months among OJSC TANECO employees. And 70 children were born within the same period.

Truly unique situation is on company in terms of housing provision. In 2012 TANECO employees received 111 apartments under social mortgage program and 180 apartments - by installment. It is noteworthy that, about 80% of new settlers are employees at the age before 34. In the coming months it is planned to allocate another 110 apartments.

Much concern is shown to the personnel health. Thus, over last 6 months about 900 refiners improved their health in rest house Shifaly, that is 40% of employees. All OJSC TANECO employees and that is 2286 people (as of June 30) covered by Voluntary Health Insurance. About 289 kids of OJSC TANECO employees are going to have a rest in the JSC Tatneft camps during this summer.

Almost all items of Trade Union Contract were impeccably fulfilled. And what is more, it is for the first time when preparation for this meeting took place in several stages. All personnel had possibility to ask questions and get comprehensive replies. OJSC TANECO Genaral Director Leonid Alyokhin personally gave answers to the most vital issues. He also highlighted that we are facing very serious production targets. We should ensure effective crude oil processing, fulfillment of schedule on oil products production which meet all quality parameters and consumers requirements. Leonid Stepanovich thanked management of JSC Tatneft for overall assistance in Project implementation and concern for people involved in Oil Refining and Petrochemical Complex.

JSC Tatneft Head of Investment Management Dept. Farit Davletshin and JSC Tatneft Chairman of Trade Union Guomar Yarullin also participated in the meeting. They have determined social priority of OJSC TANECO and JSC Tatneft, noted high importance of Oil refining and Petrochemical Complex among all refiners of Tatarstan.

Elections of delegates for extraordinary Trade Union Conference took place at the end of the meeting.
