OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2012. The Russian Federation State Reserves Commission (Rosnedra) has approved the results of a mineral survey completed by Verkhnekamsk Potash Company in accordance with the terms and conditions for subsurface use in 2009-2011 at the Talitsky area of the Verkhnekamsk potassium and magnesium salt deposit. The revaluation increased salt balance reserves 6.53% to 726.1 million tonnes. K2O reserves increased 8.1% to 163 million tonnes. As a result, the increase in balance reserves was 44.5 million tonnes of mineral salts and 12.3 million tonnes of K2O. The average commercial component grade of the salts was revised insignificantly to 22.5%.
