OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2012. Brunswick Rail, Russia’s leading private freight railcar operating lessor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul Ostling as its new Chairman.

As the former Global Chief Operating Officer at Ernst & Young, Paul Ostling has a wealth of international business experience, combined with an extensive track record with Russian blue chip companies over the past 20 years, including current positions as non-executive independent director at MTS and Uralkali. His appointment as Brunswick Rail Chairman took effect 16 July.

Paul Ostling began working at Ernst & Young in 1977, and rose to become Global Chief Operating Officer in 2003, a position he held until 2007. In Russia, he is a Board member and Audit Committee chairman at MTS and Uralkali, and served as Chief Executive Officer of KUNGUR Oilfield Equipment and Services until 2010. He has a keen interest in promoting dialogue between East and West, having been a Board member of the Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue, co-chairman of the Ukraine Foreign Investment Advisory Council and the Business Council for International Understanding.
