OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2012. MAS has altered its cabin baggage rules for all its domestic and international flights in preparation for its entry to oneworld® alliance by the end of this year.

Now, when guests travel in MAS’ Economy Class, you are allowed to bring one piece of cabin baggage up to 7kg instead of the allocated 5kg. First and Business Class guests will be allowed two pieces cabin baggage up to 7kg each. The cabin bags must not exceed 56cm height, 36cm length and 23cm width.

Guests are allowed to bring onboard a laptop, briefcase, or binocular bag, handbag, walking stick, one bag containing baby food and nappies weighing up to 5kg, a carry cot and a fully collapsible baby stroller.

This new guideline is currently implemented across the airline's extensive global network at no extra charge.
