OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2012. The specialists of the Holding's subsidiaries will perform electric installation works at the key process facilities of the plant.

Currently, the employees from OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh are working at the sulphuric acid production facilities (UPSK-1) and benzene reforming installation (LG -35-8/300B). Electric wiring works are supposed to be finished by the end of August.  After that the electricians will take part in the overhaul of crude distillation units (AVT-6, LTCH-35-11/1000).

The works performed by the Holding's specialists at production facilities of   Production Association Kirishinefteorgsintez, LLC  are related to temporary power supply  arrangement at process facilities,   repair of  damper control posts, electric lighting at a number of site installations, repair of unistruts.

Along with that, the Holding's electricians will have to set-up all the equipment of the JSC KINEF complex including six substations providing power supply for  the deep conversion plant, to carry out high-voltage tests of transformers, reactance starters, power engines, cable lines, as well as to set-up  compressor systems, pump stations, auxiliary equipment,  to try out interlock systems and to check connections with the  computerized process control system.

As of today, the specialists of OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh carry out works at 16 sites related to the  deep conversion plant (DCP) of JSC KINEF.

OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh, a part of TITAN-2 Holding has been performing all kinds of electric installation work for over 40 years. It also develops design, engineering,  and production process documentation. Specialists from SEM OJSC have carried out the full-scale complex of electric installation works within the frameworks of construction of the first stage of South-West HEP. A contract has been made for carrying out electric installation works at the gas turbine station of Novourengoy Gas Chemical Complex.

JSC KINEF is the only  oil refinery in the North-West of Russia. Currently, the deep conversion complex is under construction. It will allow processing up to 4.9 mln tons  of mazut to produce diesel fuel and aviation kerosene meeting the highest requirements to their ecological and operation characteristics. Along with the improvement of the products quality the depth of oil conversion will grow up and will be over 65%.
