OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2012. At a conference chaired by Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Lev Kuznetsov, top officials of the territorial government, heads of constituent entities and cities of the territory and executives of power industry companies spoke of preparation of facilities of the fuel and energy complex and housing and utility sector for the coming heating season. In the course of the conference one took notice of the fact that at all the vital infrastructure facilities territorially, preparation for 2012/2013 autumn/winter is proceeding as pre-planned and even a little ahead of the schedule.

JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” (part of LLC “Siberian Generating Company” group of companies) is a major supplier of thermal energy in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Accordingly, the territory administration officials and Krasnoyarsk city head pay special attention to control of repair works at the company’s facilities.

Repair of core and auxiliary equipment at Yenisei TGC CHP and GRES plants as well as within the heating networks proceeds in accordance with the schedule approved of. The current coverage scale with all the repair works is 67.8% of the annual repairs program. The works planned for the non-heating season are 70.0% complete. Fuel stock formation progresses at priority rates. The coal stocks at the storages of Yenisei TGC power plants amount to 961.2 thousand tons, the aggregate stock of fuel oil equal to 7.8 thousand tons.

A peculiar thing about JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” preparation for the impending autumn/winter period is commissioning a series of new facilities.

Thus, in March, 2012 the first power unit of Krasnoyarsk CHP-3 was launched in industrial operation, which will enable a higher quality of heat supply to consumers within the rapidly developing Sovetsky District of Krasnoyarsk during the coming heating season. Additionally, one has provided for enhancement of systemic reliability of power supply to consumers connected to the Central Load Node of the regional energy system. Prospective opportunities have been created to ensure delivery of energy resources to newly constructed buildings. Over a hundred of new residential houses, schools, kindergartens and other public facilities have already become connected to heat supply from CHP-3.

Another facility of the company, the boost pump plant in Posadny Island, will begin operation in the new heating season. With its help one will be able to deploy reserve capacities of Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 and supply more water and heat to the residential houses on the left bank of the Yenisei through the pipeline laid on the river bottom. The volume of energy additionally delivered may be as much as 80 Gcal/h. This will enable a higher quality of heat supply within the neighbourhoods of the Oktyabrsky, Zheleznodorozhny, Tsentralny and Sovetsky Districts, both already in place and under construction.

Being completed at Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 is large-scale work for reconstruction of the Gorodskoy and the Vostochny heat outputs. One has performed replacement of approximately 4 km of the above-ground section of the Gorodskoy heat output heating main with new supports and foundations arranged. Commenced in 2009, the works will be over by 2013, but the reconstruction undertaken will ensure better heating network reliability and provide for backup heat supply to consumers on the right bank of the Yenisei already in the coming heating season.

Performance of the whole array of repair works as well as modernization and new construction measures will enable the power industry company to successfully operate through the heating period. Additionally ensured will be prospective opportunities for improvement of consumer power supply, connection of new real estates as well as general promotion of industry and social sphere development.

“Siberian Generating Company (SGC) group including JSC “Kuzbassenergo” (TGC-12) and JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is engaged in production and sales of electric and thermal energy, additionally providing for heat supply. The group of companies carry out their activities within the Kemerovo Region, the Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories and the Republic of Khakassia.
