OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2012. SCF Group has confirmed its leadership in the servicing of the Russian energy exports once again. On 15 June, the product tanker NS Parade owned and operated by SCF Novoship became the first vessel to load at the newly built deepwater moorage for the transshipment of dark and light oil products constructed by Rosneft within the scope of reconstruction of Tuapse refinery.

The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, took part in the ceremony of putting the new mooring complex into operation and started the loading of the tanker NS Parade. The cargo consisted of 36,000 tonnes of fuel oil. After the loading the vessel headed for Turkey for discharge.

The thorough preparation and high qualification of the crew under the command of an experienced captain Andrey Laptev assured the proper level of safety during the mooring and loading operations. The tanker crew consists of 22 Russian seafarers.

The MR-type tanker NS Parade was built in the South Korea in 2008. On 15 June, she has been added to the list of our pioneering vessels. About a year ago, SCF's tanker Primorskiy Prospect became the first large-capacity ship to load oil products at the new Ust-Luga products terminal. Earlier, SCF tankers took part in the start-up of the first and second stages of the oil terminal in Primorsk, and the tanker Petropavlovsk was first to transport hydrocarbons from the port of Vysotsk. The Arctic shuttle tanker Vasiliy Dinkov made its first shipment of crude oil from the Varandey oil-terminal, and the LNG carrier Grand Aniva was the first to transport liquefied natural gas from the Prigorodnoye terminal (Sakhalin-1 project).
