OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2012. UTair Aviation put its Boeing 737-500 on display at the annual Russian Air Force Day airshow held at Yemelyanovo International Airport in Krasnoyarsk August 18.

The airline’s Boeing 737-500 was among 14 other UTair aircraft on display and attracted the attention of many visitors. Guests of the airshow had the opportunity to go inside the plane and inspect the cabin and take photo of the interior. UTair pilots and flight crew were on hand to answer questions about the aircraft's technical characteristics, flight operations and the airline.

At present UTair Aviation operates more than 30 Boeing 737-500 aircraft. The first aircraft of this type entered the airline’s fleet in 2008 and quickly gained popularity among passengers. The planes are equipped with enhanced interior and are characterized by high fuel efficiency. Every day Boeing 737-500 aircraft transport thousands of UTair passengers on domestic and international routes in Russia, Ukraine and Germany.

UTair Aviation  ranks among Russia's top three airlines. In 2011 the airline's aircraft transported 6,750,425 passengers. From January to June of this year, the UTair Group has serviced 40.9% more passengers than in the same period in 2011. In 2012 the airline plans to reach a passenger volume of 10 million. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and abroad. UTair's main hub is Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow from which it performs 100 flights daily.
