OREANDA-NEWS. September 5, 2012. The branch of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in St. Petersburg took part in the XXI International Agricultural Exhibition Agrorus 2012 (Lenexpo Exhibition Centre, St. Petersburg). The exhibition was organized by the Russian Government, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Committee on Agriculture of the State Duma, the Government of St. Petersburg, the Government of Leningrad Region, Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

For many years, Agrorus has been one of the most important exhibitions in the field of agriculture in Russia. This year, the event was attended by more than 1,500 exhibitors from 45 regions of Russia and 15 other neighboring countries and beyond, including Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Poland.

The agenda of the Agrorus 2012 exhibition included conferences, workshops and round tables devoted to the issues related to development and implementation of advanced technologies in agriculture, as well as improvement of the current system of agricultural insurance.

As part of the exhibition, the experts from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company held several presentations for visitors and exhibitors devoted to insurance of agricultural risks. Visitors to the booth of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company had an opportunity to get acquainted to the insurance products of the company aimed at agricultural producers, as well as to receive answers to any questions related to insurance in the agricultural sector.
