OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2012. The Bank of Moscow has opened a 24-month, RUB 500 million credit facility for OJSC Donenergo (Rostov Region). The purpose of the loan is to replenish working assets and finance investment, including settlements with suppliers for equipment, materials and fuixed assets and with contractors for design and survey, construction and installation work.

"The Bank of Moscow is actively developing co-operation with regional level enterprises", commented Evgeny Monin, Director of the Regional Business Development Directorate of the Bank of Moscow’s Corporate Sales Management Department. "The Bank’s credit portfolio in the Rostov Region has gone up by 90% since the beginning of the year. The Bank’s Rostov subsidiary has all the requisite tools and authority and an independent lending limit allowing it to expedite satisfaction of the needs of business".

OJSC Donenergo operates virtually throughout the Rostov Region. Currently it has eleven electricity grid subsidiaries and a Thermal Grids subsidiary, which are fitted out with the latest equipment created on the basis of innovative developments by leading world and domestic manufacturers.

According to 2011 data, Donenergo provides services to over 32 thousand legal entities and more than 600 thousand individuals. The total length of the OJSC Donenergo electricity grids is growing by the year and has currently reached 18.2 thousand Km, including 13.8 thousand Km, of aerial lines and 4.3 thousand Km, of cable lines. The growth of production capacity necessitates a constant increase in transformer substations and distribution points, which currently number 5540.
