OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. The Belarusian government has adjusted alcohol output quotas for 2012 by resolution #787 of the Council of Ministers.

The annual output quota on vodka and other hard drinks has been increased 0.3% from the original level to 20.085 million decaliters, grape wine – down 7.6% to 4.185 million decaliters, the quota on production of improved quality fortified wines has been reduced by 5.5% to 18.229 million decaliters, ethyl alcohol output has been raised 2.1% to 13.128 million decaliters, "champagne"and other sparkling wines output quota has been raised 1.1% to 1.76 million decaliters.

The ordinary fruit wine output quota has been cut 32.7% to 309,000 decaliters.

The natural fruit-and-berry wine output quota has been set at 218,000 decaliters, down 2.2%.

Production quotas for other types of alcohol products have remained unchanged: the original grape wine production quota stands at 5,000 decalitres, whiskey –102,000 decaliters, non-food alcohol output -1 million decaliters, the production of antiseptic pharmaceuticals categorized as non-food alcohol-containing products - 93,000 decaliters.
