OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2012. Mikheil Saakashvili, the President of Georgia awarded SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev with Order of Excellence, according to the decree #10/09/08, dated September 10, 2012. That day the order had been presented to Mr. Abdullayev who paid a visit to Georgia.

 The Order of Excellence, initiated in 2009 by President Saakashvili, previously had been conferred to the Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, Georgian ambassadors to the US and EU, French ambassador to Georgia, American businessman Donald Trump and to others.
