OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. A press conference of REPUTATSIA Rating Agency was held in the Digital October center; during the conference, the names of companies, which received the rating of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), were declared. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company became the first Russian insurer that received the rating certificate. The company received the highest rating of AAA(s).

While developing the method of CSR rating evaluation, principles and provisions of international standards were taken into account (the terminology and structure is based on international standards, in particular, ISO 26000), peculiarities of the Russian economic and social space, as well as specific character of Russian laws, etc. were considered. In the course of the analysis, the experts evaluated companies’ activity using the following principal CSR trends: economic results and organizational management, interaction with consumers, labor relations and staff rights, interaction with the society, environment and environmental protection. According to experts of REPUTATSIA RA, the given rating allows to objectively evaluate and show the company’s contribution to public welfare and social structure of the population, and also evaluate efficiency of activity and management solutions in the CSR sphere. CSR rating shows the degree of the company’s social orientation, level of integration in the social life, company’s possibility to perform its obligations to the society.

According to the report of REPUTATSIA RA, AAA(s) – the rating given to Ingosstrakh Insurance Company – the highest level of the corporate social responsibility, means that a complex effective CSR policy has been accepted in the company, approved as an internal regulatory document, and activity is performed in all social responsibility sectors. High awareness of interested parties of the activity in the social responsibility sphere, regular control and a stably positive dynamics of indicators in all CSR sectors.
