OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. The press conference devoted to the Bank of Moscow’s new strategy of the small and medium business development in the Republic of Tatarstan was held in the conference hall of the Mirage hotel in Kazan.

The press conference was attended by Vladimir Voeikov, member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow, and Liliya Bogacheva, Director of the branch of the bank of Moscow in Kazan.

The core trends and possibilities of development of the small and medium business of the Bank of Moscow in the Republic were reviewed at the press conference, and the strategic goals and objectives of the branch of the Bank of Moscow in Kazan were announced.

Starting from 2011, when the Bank of Moscow joined VTB Group, the Bank’s the activities have been mainly concentrated on development of the small and medium business segment: special sales models are implemented and the Bank’s products are offered proceeding from the regional enterprises’ needs.

The 1.9–fold growth of the small and medium business clients’ portfolio (to 83 billion rubles) and 1.5-fold growth of the resource base of the small and medium business clients (to 100 billion rubles) was marked among the main goals of the Bank of Moscow in the small and medium business segment for 2012.

"According to our expert estimations, the current share of the Bank in the segment of the small and medium business financing stands 0.7%, and the share in the outsourcing segment reaches 1.4%. We intend to raise the share to 5-6% in the regions of our presence by 2014. The Bank of Moscow has all opportunities to reach the set goals – the clients’ trust, strong brand, team of professional employees, popular products and up-to-date technologies", - Vladimir Voeikov marked.

The press conference participants told about the new tools and technologies of the Bank in its work with the small and medium businesses. The new model of the medium business service suggest a personal approach to each client, and a wide product line allows for a prompt response to the companies’ needs, and for competitive abilities with regard to the terms of service. The Bank offers different financing programs to support medium and small businesses, and an expanded product line to manage free cash of the companies. Special emphasis is laid on cooperation with one of the largest operators holding electronic auctions of the Common Electronic Trade Site OJSC. The short-range plans of the Bank of Moscow include development of the product line to expand the possibility of the medium and small business participation in auctions and to finance all stages of the state order fulfillment.

Dwelling on development of the Bank of Moscow in Tatarstan the core objectives of the branch were announced. These include the 2.4-fold growth of the small and medium business clients’ portfolio, and a 2.8-fold growth of the attracted resources from the small and medium business clients.

According to speakers, the main goals o9f the Bank of Moscow is to achieve a dominant position in the bank market of the Republic of Tatarstan.

To implement new products and technologies for the small and medium business clients the bank has changed the regular staff of branches serving corporate clients. The branch vigorously cooperates with the top industrial organisations of the Republic, with the flagship enterprises of industry and commerce, and also with the municipal entities of Tatarstan.
