OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2012. BASF’s innovative emissions catalysts coatings to meet Euro VI regulations for heavy duty diesel vehicles will be on display at the DAF Trucks booth located in Hall 17, booth B20, at the IAA Commercial Vehicles trade fair taking place in Hannover, Germany, from September 20-27, 2012.

The BASF emissions control coatings being showcased include DOCs (Diesel Oxidation Catalysts), catalytic particle filters (Catalyzed Soot Filter, CSF) and SCR catalysts (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for diesel engines. These emission catalyst products are manufactured at the company’s Nienburg, Germany, catalyst production facility.

“We are proud to help our customers meet Euro VI regulations, enabling cleaner air for a more sustainable future,” said Xavier Susterac, Vice President, Mobile Emissions Catalysts at BASF.  “Given increasingly restrictive emissions regulations, we have allocated a double-digit million euro sum to expand capacity at our Nienburg production facility to keep pace with demand for innovative and cost-effective emissions control systems.”

“We work closely with our customers to deliver advanced technology and help make them more successful,” added Peter Macnair, BASF Global Key Account Manager.
