OREANDA-NEWS. October 1, 2012. “RURU – The World of Payments” and CyberPlat® payment system have provided MegaFon subscribers with an opportunity to make UNISTREAM and Contact money transfers from their personal MegaFon accounts. The service is available to all MegaFon subscribers in the Russian Federation, and citizens of Russia, CIS and Georgia now can be recipients of such payments.

The transfer can be made on the RURU Internet site (www.RURU.ru) using a simple SMS-request to the service number 7878, as well as via the mobile application “RURU – The World of Payments” for smartphones based on Android and iOS. When making an addressless transfer you need to specify the amount of transfer, full name of the payer and the payee, and the payee’s country. After entering this information the payer is sent an SMS-message confirming the transfer.

Following this, the payer is sent another SMS-message with transaction details and the control number, which must be reported to the payee so that the payee could receive the transferred funds at any cash point for UNISTREAM or Contact addressless money transfers. Moreover, the payee will be given exactly the same amount in rubles, which was indicated by the payer.

The amount of one-time money transfer should be not less than 100 rubles, but not more than 14 thousand rubles. A commission of 5.95% of the amount is deducted from the payer's personal account balance.

“UNISTREAM money transfers from mobile phone accounts are one of the most popular services among RURU users,” - says Yuri Baev, CEO of “RURU – The World of Payments”. – “We are pleased to provide MegaFon subscribers with an opportunity to make money transfers from their mobile phone accounts. Our priority is to increase the number of services available in our system and payable regardless of methods of payment.”
