OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2012. As prescribed by Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012", social standards are going to be increased this October-November.

Thus, average living wage is UAH 1060 this October-November compared to UAH 934.0 for last year’s same period.

This October-November living wage for children under six years old is UAH 930 compared to UAH 853 for the same period 2011; for children above 6 and under 18 years old - UAH 1161 compared to UAH 1022 for  October-November 2011, for able-bodied persons - UAH 1118 (UAH 985 for October-November), for disabled persons - UAH 856 (UAH 784 for October-November 2011).

There is also increase of birth grant to keep growing gradually till the end of the year. Thus, birth grants are:

- for the first child - UAH 27,900 (UAH 25,590 for October-November 2011);
- for the second child - UAH 55,800 (UAH 51,180 for October-November 2011);
- for the third and subsequent child – UAH 111,600 (UAH 102,360 for October-November 2011).

As from October 1, maternity grant is increasing for uninsured women up to UAH 1173.9 compared to UAH 1034.3 for the same period 2011.

Also, child allowance is to increase for unmarried mothers as from October 1 including:

- for children under six years old – up to UAH 465.0;
- for children above 6 and under 18 years old – up to UAH 580.5;
- for student above 18 and under 23 years old – up to UAH 559.

Besides, allowance is growing in 2012 for children under custody making, for October-November 2012, UAH 1860 (for children under six years old) and UAH 2322 (for children above 6 and under 18 years old).

In October-November, allowance will also increase for people disabled from childhood and disabled children including the allowance with the care bonus as follows:

for the 1st group (subgroup А) - UAH 1498;
for the 1st group (subgroup В) - UAH 1284;
for the 2nd and 3rd group - UAH 856.

With the care bonus included, allowance for disabled children will be as follows:

- for children under six years old - UAH 1064.2, and UAH 1363.8 for children affected by Chornobyl disaster;
- for children above 6 and under 18 years old – UAH 1179.7, and respectively, UAH 1479.3 for those affected by Chornobyl disaster.
