OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2012. Sergey Kogogin, General Director of OJSC KAMAZ, Made a speech at the Tatarstan-Turkish Automotive Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum held in Bursa (Turkey).

The forum was also attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan; Mustafa Sever, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey; Vladimir Ivanovskiy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkey; Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. In all, the business forum was attended by over 200 businessmen from more than 20 enterprises of Tatarstan and Turkey. They are OJSC KAMAZ, Ford-Sollers JV, OAO PO ElAZ, ОАО "Tatnefteсhiminvest-holding", the SEZ "Alabuga", as well as more than 50 companies of the Republic of Turkey, including Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters` Association, Bursa Industrialists and Businessmen Association, and others.

The aim of this large-scale event was to develop a trust-based dialogue between Tatarstan’s and Turkey’s business communities and to discuss opportunities for new projects and development of the automobile components cluster in Tatarstan.

"Our broad experience in cooperation convinces us that foreign companies can do business with Russian partners and achieve success if their business is based on mutual benefit," Sergey Kogogin said in his speech.
