OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2012. The Tata Motors group's global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 103,656 vehicles in September 2012, lower by 4 percent over September 2011. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 579,037 vehicles, higher by 8 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2011-12.

Global sales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and Tata Hispano Carrocera range – were 54,761 in September 2012, higher by 3 percent over September 2011. Cumulative sales for the fiscal were at 283,546, higher by 2 percent over September 2011.

Global sales of all passenger vehicles were at 48,895 in September 2012, lower by 11 percent. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are 295,491, higher by 14 percent.

Global sales of Tata passenger vehicles were at 22,434 for the month, lower by 17 percent over September 2011. Cumulative sales for the fiscal are at 134,597, higher by 4 percent.

Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in September 2012 were at 26,461 vehicles, lower by 4 percent over September 2011, which includes model year change over timings. Jaguar sales for the month were 2,808 vehicles and cumulative sales were at 21,606 vehicles, while Land Rover sales in September 2012 were 23,653 vehicles and cumulative sales were 139,288 vehicles. Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal are 160,894 vehicles, higher by 24 percent.
