OREANDA-NEWS. October 22, 2012.  PotashCorp’s commitment to integrated corporate reporting has placed it at the top of an international list.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) presented PotashCorp with the Towards Integrated Reporting: 10 Year Anniversary International Award at its annual Building Public Trust Awards ceremony in early October.

Companies based in 25 countries were examined as contenders for the award.

According to the judges, PotashCorp was named the winner because of its “readable and highly accessible report structured around its business model, with clear linkage between key value drivers, why they matter, objectives, strategy and performance – both financial and non-financial.”

“At PotashCorp, we understand that clear reporting helps build trust between our company, our shareholders and our stakeholders,” said Denita Stann, PotashCorp’s Vice President Investor and Public Relations.

“We have always believed that our ability to create and sustain value goes beyond the traditional financial measures. We have continued to evolve our reporting and taken efforts to discuss our financial and sustainability strategies and performance together, reflecting their interdependence. We are honoured by this recognition from PwC and believe it affirms that we’re on the right path.”
