OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. Tata Power, India's largest integrated power company today announced that it has been awarded the Letter of Intent for the distribution franchise of Jamshedpur circle by the Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB).

The distribution franchise awarded to Tata Power will be for a period of 15 years. Tata Power will be responsible for operating and maintaining the distribution network in the Jamshedpur circle, which includes Jamshedpur, Tata Steel city, Adityapur and Ghatsila divisions. Tata Power will also be managing the billing and collections. As already seen at Delhi, where the existing employees adopted to Tata culture of transparency and customer orientation quickly, the team from Tata Power looks forward to working closely with all employees of JSEB who would be willing to realign themselves to serve customers with efficiency and superior customer care.
