OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2012. The Moscow City Construction Department and OJSC Mostotrest have signed a state contract for construction and overhaul of a complex of transport infrastructure facilities in the west of Moscow.

Within the scope of the state contract, OJSC Mostotrest specialists are, within a short time period, to upgrade existing and build new transport facilities providing development for the Russian capital’s transport infrastructure, in particular, transport links with the Skolkovo Innovation Centre.

The preliminary price of the state contract for the construction of the facilities, as of the signing date, amounts to 34.7 billion roubles (including VAT). The final price will be determined after a positive state expert review opinion is received for each stage of construction of these facilities.

Within the scope of the project, it is planned to construct and upgrade the following facilities:

Southern section of the North-West chord (from Leningradskoye Avenue with exit on to Mnevniki St. along Narodnogo Opolcheniya St..; Skolkovskoye Avenue to the Moscow Ring Road; from Mosfilmovskaya St. to Aminyevskoye Avenue; Aminyevskoye Avenue to the junction with Generala Dorokhova St.; Generala Dorokhova St. from Aminyevskoye Avenue to the Moscow Ring Road; Ryabinovaya St., Vyazemskaya St., Vitebskaya St.)

The state contract envisages a gradual construction of the facilities. The full complex of works is planned for completion in December 2016.

According to OJSC Mostotrest General Director Vladimir Vlasov, the complexity of the project consists in the need to construct large-scale engineering structures within an urban area within the tough deadlines. “Development of the transport infrastructure in the western part of Moscow, including development of the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre, is a complex and responsible project requiring a highly qualified general contractor with modern technologies and experience of implementing large-scale projects using its own forces”, Vlasov noted. “It is a great honour for the Mostotrest team to be entrusted with a project of such importance for the city, thus confirming our reputation as a reliable contractor capable of rapidly completing projects of any complexity.”
