OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2012. PJSC EMAlliance, a member of the power plant concern Power Machines, has taken part in Reconstuction of Vladivostokskaya CHPP-2 (PJSC Far Eastern Generating Company). Reconstruction of the plant boiler No.7 Е-210-13,8-560 is completed successfully. The boiler is operating steady at the present time. The Project works were carried out by the specialists of PJSC Engineering Centre EMAlliance - BSDB BP.

The engineers of PJSC Engineering Centre EMAlliance - BSDB BP (Barnaul) have created a Project for conversion of the Boiler No. 7 of Vladivostokskaya CHPP-2 to gas instead of coal. In the course of the works there has been prepared design and working documentation for replacement of bare-tube furnace with gas-tight one. It has resulted in improvement of engineering-and-economical and ecological performance of the boiler operation and development of light lining of gas-tight furnace wall sections. There has been also performed reconstruction of ceiling superheater.

 Project works were carried out within the framework of preparation for the APEC Summit according to the investment program of Far Eastern Generating Company and became the continuation of reconstruction program of Vladivostokskaya CHPP-2 for boiler conversion to natural gas instead of coal, that will allow to improve significantly ecological situation in Vladivostok.

 Reconsrtuction of the boiler No.7 for Vladivostokskaya CHPP-2 is not the only project of Engineering Centre EMAlliance - BSDB BP for boiler conversion to natural gas from other fuel types (coal, fuel oil). There were executed the Project for reconstruction of steam boilers BKZ-120-100GM Unit No.6-11 for Kamchatskaya CHPP-1 for natural gas; re-equipment of Kamchatskaya CHPP-2 with conversion of boilers BKZ-320-140GM-8с Unit No.1, 2, 3 to natural gas; reconstruction Project of South Sakhalin CHPP-1 with conversion of boilers Unit No.1-5 to natural gas.
