OREANDA-NEWS. December 4, 2012. Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia grew by 7.9% year-on-year to USD 5.596 billion in January-September 2012, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The volume of exports from Uzbekistan to Russia made up USD 3.88 billion in January-September 2012 against USD 3.483 billion in the same period of 2011.

Imports of Uzbekistan from Russia rose from USD 1.703 billion to USD 1.716 billion in the reporting period, the committee said.

Russia was the largest trade partner of Uzbekistan in January-September 2012 as its share in total turnover made up 28.9%.

Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up US419.374 billion in January-September 2012, or fell by 2.3% year-on-year.
