OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2012. Wizz Air, Hungary’s low-cost, low-fare airline, today was forced to cancel 10 flights to and from Budapest after a power failure at Budapest Airports Air traffic control. To minimize disruption to customers Wizz Air will operate today’s flights W6 2205/2206 to and from London Luton and W6 2359/2360 to and from Naples at Debrecen Airport and flights W6 2341/2342 to and from Rome Fiumicino at Bratislava Airport, with passengers being carried by bus to either Debrecen or Bratislava from Budapest Airport Terminal 2. These three flights are now planned to operate with some delay and passengers are advised to go to Budapest airport according to their original travel schedule, where Wizz Air will provide bus transport to Debrecen or Bratislava.
