OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2012. MSU has witnessed the solemn ceremony of awarding student cards to the MA students of the Higher School for Innovative Business, MSU (corporate university). Mikhail Gutseriev, President of JSC NK RussNeft, and Victor Sadovnichy, Rector of MSU and academician, participated in the ceremony.

The Oil and Gas Company and the University agreed to carry on the joint educational project for the establishment of the Higher School for Innovative Business, MSU. The main objective is the all-round contribution to the education development, promising students support, striving to start their carrier in RussNeft holding and the oil and gas complex.

Within the project MSU engaged professor team, contributed to working out of special educational programmes at the faculty. NK RussNeft formed the facilities of the faculty, providing of the up-to-date research and educational equipment and acquiring the up-to-date software, publishing special literature.

MA Programme at the Higher School for Innovative Business, MSU has been worked out by both specialists of MSU and NK RussNeft taking into account current targets of the oil corporations and in particular of JSC NK RussNeft. Innovative educational programmes are targeted at using MSU fundamental and applied research experience, its scientific and educational potential and opportunities of the academic science. Apart from that brand new interdisciplinary innovative programmes are being integrated within the educational process.

MA Programmes:

Management, Programmes:

Natural resources management;

Objective – MA Management students training in the area of natural resources management, environmental management, regions’ and highly populated territories’ development.

Geology, Programmes:

Geological and Geophysical exploration of oil and gas fields;

Within this programme, Geology MA students get the basic knowledge in the area of geological and geophysical and engineering and geological exploration at oil and gas fields, license, environmental safety, forecasting and monitoring of the field maintenance, innovative sphere management and geological investigation.

Chemistry. Programmes:

Hydrocarbons chemical refinery;

Objective – specialist training in the sphere of oil refinery, petrochemistry and gas chemistry, having a good background in the specified sphere taking into account new ecological and technical requirements, having a profound knowledge in the current issues of the petroleum, oils and petrochemistry products production.

Two courses of MA students have graduated for the 6 years of the Programme (2006-2008 – 20 graduate students; 2010-2012 – 20 graduate students). They have completed educational Programmes of the Business School successfully. The current course consists of 23 MA students.

It is targeted at progressive contribution of the Russian business in the Higher Education development in our country. For the oil industry, RussNeft, in particular, the Higher School of Innovative Business gives a chance to provide a targeted contribution in innovative scientific research and what is the most important, in the all-round highly qualified personnel training.

Apart from that, the Parties have entered into the Agreement of the annual Contest of Works establishment in the sphere of natural sciences for the award of M. Gutseriev, President of JSC NK RussNeft for the students, PhD students and young scientists of MSU. The jury will choose 10 research papers having a serious scientific meaning.

Objective of the contest – to award talented young scholars and facilitate the implementation of the scientific and creative potential.
