OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2012. Anhui's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, grew 1.7 percent year on year in November, according to Anhui Investigation Team of National Bureau of Statistics December 10.

Rises in the prices of food mainly contributed to the climbing CPI growth.

Food prices, which account for nearly one-third of the weighting in the calculation of China's CPI, rose 2.2 percent in November from one year earlier, 1.4 percentage points higher than that in October, pushing the index up 0.7 percentage points.

The non-food prices rose 1.5% year on year in November, among which property sector rose 1.1% year on year.
