OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2012. PJSC Stroytransgaz, JSC Atomenergoproekt and OJSC All-Russian Vedeneev Hydraulic Engineering Research Institute (VNIIG) (a member of OJSC Rushydro Holding) signed a cooperation agreement with the objective to enhance the efficiency of projects implementation in the power generating sector of the RF.

The agreement was signed by President of PJSC Stroytransgaz Vadim Gurinov, Director General of JSC Atomenergoproekt Marat Mustafin and Director General of OJSC VNIIG n.a. B.E. Vedeneev Evgeny Bellendir.

The agreement suggests the possibility of establishment of a joint inter-sectoral project management competence centre. The Centre will promote implementation of modern standards and methods of project management at facilities in the process of design, construction, upgrade and decommissioning of power engineering facilities in the Russian Federation. On the Centre basis a unified research and information site is planned to be formed which will allow the companies to exchange their experience and best practices in project management.

Another important activity of the Centre will be preparation, certification and professional training of experts in project management.

“Stroytransgaz aims at implementation of cutting-edge technologies, the best Russian and international practices in design and construction. By combining experience and knowledge, we can both enhance competitiveness of our companies and make a significant contribution into innovation development of the power sector in general”, Vadim Gurinov noted.

“It is important to us, as an engineering company, to permanently improve competences in design and construction with the purpose of enhancing the quality of atomic power stations construction. Therefore, we are interested in the experience of our colleagues from other high-tech sectors. For our part, we have our unique practices, and we are happy to share them with our colleagues. The signed agreements open prospects for closer and more efficient cooperation, which, I believe, will be useful to us and our partners,” Marat Mustafin said.
