OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2012. The major stakeholders under EPC Contract – Gazprom neftekhim Salavat JSC, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (Japan), Trade company Sojitz Corporation (Japan) as well as Renaissance Construction(Turkey) – have stipulated terms and conditions for engineering, procurement and construction of new Acrylic Acid & Acrylates Complex.

– After the challenging preparation, this important document for Acrylic Acid Complex allowing us to be marketed in a new light in the petrochemical sector has been signed. There was always our company’s tradition to implement up-to-date technology solutions and we are willing to keep holding to this tradition nowadays. The project is ambitious and we are ready to tackle demanding and large-scale challenges, Damir Shavaleev, Director General of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat JSC, emphasized.

For information: The new Acrylic Acid & Acrylates Complex will be located in the territory of Monomer Plant of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat JSC. It consists of crude Acrylic Acid Unit with capacity of 80 kta, Butyl Acrylates Unit (acrylic acid ethers and butanol) with capacity of 80 kta and Glacial Acrylic Acid Unit with capacity of 35 kta. The design capacity of the new Complex of Gazprom neftekhim Salavat is planned to be reached by fourth quarter of 2015.
