Gartner’s Magic Quadrant report researches and evaluates Asia/Pacific network service providers based on completeness of vision and ability to execute. Leaders are companies recognized to execute well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.2

"We believe Gartner’s positioning of NTT Com as a leader for 10 consecutive years illustrates our favorable recognition and reputation in the highly competitive Asia/Pacific market," said Katsumi Nakata, Senior Vice President of Global Business at NTT Com. "Going forward, we will continue to build on such strengths to offer high-quality, globally seamless cloud services incorporating a comprehensive range of networks, data centers, hosting and applications under our Global Cloud Vision."

During 2012, NTT Com launched the Asia Submarine-cable Express, a low-latency network system linking major Asian cities, and opened additional data centers in Singapore and Malaysia. In India, the company acquired a majority stake in NetMagic Solutions, a fast-growing hosting and managed IT services provider with seven data centers in the country. NTT Com now boasts the best data center footprint in Asia/Pacific.

Enhanced bring-your-own-device (BYOD) services are another growing strength of NTT Com. The company is rapidly introducing new BYOD services to support the increasing use of smartphones and tablets as business tools.

In 2013, NTT Com will launch a financial-grade data center in Hong Kong. Backed by its strategic location and direct connection to the Asia Submarine-cable Express, NTT Com will offer a comprehensive range of sophisticated solutions for corporations, especially in the financial services field.

Mr. Nakata added: "We will continue to make further investments in infrastructure and services as a major ICT partner for multinational companies, particularly in Asia."
